Prompt: Write about a place you never wanted to leave.

A place I never wanted to leave was Japan. It was such a beautiful place with a rich amount of diverse cultures that I wanted to learn and see everything. I went for a little under three weeks for my birthday and I still hadn't seen everything. Specifically, I remember being in the Ghibli park and thinking to myself that I just wanted to stay, to just have a little more time. Despite that, I don't regret anything I did on that trip, and I truly believe I made the most of it. While I would like to go back in the future, I'm happy with what I got done over there.

Today we learned about the culture in India.

I think it was pretty interesting to learn about their culture because I didn't really know much about it. It really made me think about what I had similar with others, and what was different. Like for instance, their head wobble could be interpreted as a 'no' for me, but it is like an affirmation of understanding, which is wild to think about the different meanings people place on gestures.
