 Today we presented our story maps. It was cool seeing everyone's maps, and learning a bit more about them. The differences in culture were interesting, and I was surprised to share some things with other people. I also liked how you could see some people put in a lot of effort into their maps, just an extra thought. Personally, I don't like public speaking, so the presentations in this class make me pretty nervous. Overall I was glad when it was over and enjoyed listening to others present. 

 We finished up our story maps today. Also, the test was moved to Friday, which was quite the boon. I do not really know how to answer all the questions for the story map. For instance, the one asking for a time you have stood up for your identity against family or social expectations, and I do not recall a time when I have done that. The Monday off was a welcome rest from school, and I didn't really do anything to celebrate labor day.
